He grinned. He loved how Quinn’s face lit up when they were talking about Lena. For him, loving his daughter had been immediate, but he’d been worried that Princess Quinn would have a hard time adjusting. She’d proven him wrong over and over again, and now, when he looked at her, all he could think of was what a wonderful mother she was turning out to be, and how they were going to have incredibly gorgeous children together. His mother would be ridiculously proud.
“She is, and you should. She’s going to flip out when she sees that I finally gave it to you. She kept asking me when and got all mad when I told her not yet… it’ll be a good surprise for her to wake up to.”
He reasoned, smiling to himself and pulling her into another kiss. This one was deeper, and as he kissed her, he directed her backwards until he had her backed against one of the posts of the gazebo, holding her there by the grip he had on her hips.
“We should take advantage of the fact that we’re alone right now… don’t you agree?”
He suggested, not waiting for an answer before he started kissing her neck, his light stubble brushing against her skin as he did so. It had been a while, he missed her, and honestly, she’d just agreed to MARRY him. He was on one of the biggest highs of his entire life.
Quinn loved Lena as if she were her own. There had always been a part of her a part that she was never too sure how dominant it was, but she always wanted to be a mother, she had a maternal side that few people knew about. At first there had been fears of Lena accepting her and how the three of them would adjust but she had immediately fallen in love with the toddler when she first laid eyes on her. After first meeting Prince Noah she wasn’t sure what her future would hold but now she saw them with kids and she saw Noah rubbing her back while she was pregnant. That idea alone was frightening but she wanted children with him. She wanted to share every single part of her life with him.
“Well in that case I can’t wait to tell her. I hope you know that she is going to be our flower girl, with only the prettiest of dresses for the prettiest of princesses.”
She smiled brightly at him and laughed softly at the image of Lena’s reaction to their engagement. Quinn kissed him back, her arms winding securely around him and holding him close, easily moving as he maneuvered her backwards. With her back finally pressed against the gazebo, she pulled him as close as physically possible.
“Mmm, I do.”
Her head automatically tilted to give him better access as he kissed her neck, her breath hitching in her throat. Everything didn’t seem real, she was sure she would wake up alone or with Lena curled into her but with each passing moment she knew that what had just happened couldn’t be a dream. Needless to say she was on one of the biggest highs of her life. A small chuckle escaping her as she thought of just how much her life had changed in the past few months.
“We should take full advantage.”
-grins widely-
Thank you Quinny!
-Hugs her gently-
Anything for you baby girl.
He actually beamed at her as she accepted the proposal. He’d been nervous, but he hadn’t known why… nothing had made him think she would deny him at all, but still, he’d had to coach himself a little bit for the off chance that she might not want to get married to him. The rejection would have hurt and more than likely, he’d have made her marry him anyways, but thankfully, he didn’t even need to entertain those thoughts right now.
His eyes on hers, he slid the ring on the appropriate finger and brought her hand to his mouth, kissing her ring and standing up a moment later. He pulled her into his arms and a split second later, into a deep kiss. Yes, he’d definitely missed doing this, among other things, but before he let the fact that he hadn’t had sex in two weeks get to him, he was going to take a second to relish in the fact that he was the reason behind Quinn’s smile.
When he broke the kiss a minute later, he was chuckling to himself.
“I hope you realize how hard it was for me to keep a secret. I’m so surprised Lena didn’t spill the beans while I was gone… she picked your ring out, you know? It had the most sparkles.”
Her eyes didn’t leave his as he slid the ring onto her finger, her breath hitching in her throat as she felt it slide perfectly into place. A light blush rose on her cheeks as he kissed her hand that would remain the home to her engagement ring. She couldn’t believe any of it, she was marrying the love of her life and was free from the strict rules of her mother. It all still seemed so overwhelming but she was incredibly happy. Her arms easily wrapped around him as he pulled her to him, her smile never fading until he pulled her into a deep kiss. She kissed him back with everything she had and kept her body as close to his as possible. Being in his arms again was perfect, she had missed kissing him and taking his hand in her own. She had missed the sex too, but she knew how to live without it. Seeing his beaming smile and the way he looked at her while he waited for her answer, she knew that she was the reason behind it all and that he loved her. There was no doubt in her mind that he loved her.
She looked at him with a bright smile and rested her left hand on his cheek gently, her eyes glancing at the ring that sat there when he spoke of Lena.
“Lena said something about a ring, but we didn’t go too far with it. All I knew was that she went shopping with you for something. She did? She is so perfect, Noah. Of course she loves sparkles, I must tell her she did an amazing job of picking it out.”
-nods and looks hopefully up at her-
Can you be my mommy sometimes?
-smiles softly at her-
If it’s okay with Daddy, I would love to. Whenever you need me sweetie, I’ll always be here for you.
But my mommy is in heaven, I miss her :(
Oh honey. We can do something special, get some flowers and take them to somewhere you think she would love. I know you miss your Mommy, but Daddy and I are always here for cuddles whenever you need them. I know that neither of us are her, but we do love you.
“It was mutual, trust me. The Duke of Finchel was actually making fun of how eager I was to get back to my laptop to skype you both every night. Sometimes I really hate that guy.”
He joked, though he was telling the truth about the Duke of the most abominable of their neighboring kingdoms. He was enjoying the close proximity he now shared with the princess though, and couldn’t help himself from reaching back to grab her ass for a moment, because sometimes we forget that this is meant to be a smutty slave rp in favor of just being awesomely adorable. They walked deeper into the garden, catching up, until they came upon a gazebo and Prince Noah moved to stand behind Princess Quinn a few feet in front of it. His arms slipped easily around her waist and he pulled her to rest against him, dipping his head to lightly kiss her neck.
“You know, this is where my parents were married. They had a small, private ceremony before they had the one that was televised at the time. It’s my mother’s favorite place in the entire kingdom, though not many people know that. They think she prefers the East Dalton Gardens.”
He spoke casually, as if he were just telling her yet another little known fact about the royal family of Dalton. He peppered them in from time to time, but honestly, his life as of late had revolved around getting to know his daughter. So many royals in the past would have simply sent Lena to be raised by a nanny or even gone so far as to send her to her own house with a full staff. Prince Noah refused, and the fact that Princess Quinn had seen nothing at all wrong with the fact that he wanted to take an active role in the life of his child, and that she wanted to actually BE a part of Lena’s life… that she didn’t resent the little girl for stealing his attention, it made him love her even more, which is why he’d brought her here this morning in the first place. Discretely, he moved his hand to his back pocket, slipping it into the box he’d put in there, having made the decision not to present it that way after all. His arm was back around her a moment later, looking no different than it had a moment earlier. Not letting go of her, he moved around to face her, smiling.
“And for the past two weeks, being gone, all I could think of was that I hadn’t actually shown you this part of the palace yet, and that even if you found it on your own, unless I told you, you wouldn’t know the significance.”
He stole a kiss, and took a deep breath.
“And now that you know what this place means to my family, I can tell you that I was hoping that sometime, way down the line, my son might tell the woman he’s fallen ass over head in love with that this is where his father got down on one knee and asked his mother to marry him.”
It probably wasn’t the best way of proposing, and she may have not even realized what he was talking about, but Prince Noah had never been particularly good with words, that had always been Aaron’s forte. He took Quinn’s hand in his and looked her in the eyes as he sunk down to one knee, brandishing the ring he’s had custom made for her.
“Princess Quinn, when we invaded Kinley and came away with their princesses, the last thing I ever thought was that I would want to spend the rest of my life with one of them. I’d never even thought of marriage until meeting you. I know it hasn’t been as long as traditional courtships may be, but what can I say, I’m an eager little fucker. I want you to be my wife, I want you to be the mother of my children, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side. I love you Quinn, and I hope you love me enough to accept my proposal and to be my wife.”
“I remember meeting him about a year ago. Took everything I had not to glare at him. We were always waiting though.”
She shivered at the memory of the Duke of Finchel and his policy of women should be seen and not heard. A light blush rose on her cheeks as Prince Noah grabbed her ass, she had missed his hands all over her. Being close to him again was exactly what she had been wanting ever since he left. Princess Quinn looked at the gazebo with curiosity shining in her hazel eyes, a small smile forming on her lips as she rested against Prince Noah. She tilted her head slightly to give the Prince better access to her neck and closed her eyes as she committed each kiss to memory.
“It would have been so romantic. I can see why she would love it here. It’s stunning.”
Princess Quinn always made sure to remember every little detail Prince Noah shared with her about his family. During his absence she had spent some time with the Queen and Lena as they all got to know each other better. There was absolutely no way in the world that Quinn could ever resent Lena, she had brought out a whole new side to Prince Noah and it had been one of the most amazing things to witness. She loved Lena as if she was her own, she had vowed to love and protect her and there was no way that it was ever going to be broken. As he moved around her, she smiled back at him, happy to have him holding her again. When he spoke, she simply nodded knowing that he didn’t really require an answer.
She kissed him back briefly before giving him a questioning look, he seemed nervous yet she couldn’t stop smiling. Butterflies flying around within her. Her eyes widened slightly as he spoke, but she still wasn’t sure what it was exactly that he was going on about.
When he got down on one knee, her eyes were locked on his, a small gasp leaving her as she saw the ring that was in his hand. At his next words tears welled up in her eyes as she nodded before taking a moment to form actual words as she smiled down at the man before her.
“I love you too, Noah. And yes, a million times yes. I want all of those things with you.”
Her hands were shaking but she couldn’t stop smiling. He was the love of her life and soon she would be able to call him her husband. Simply the thought of being his wife made her smile.

My brother.. of all people.. is getting.. married. Either he’s gone completely insane or our mother has forced him into it. I know him well enough to know that marriage is not on his agenda.
He’d laughed, and a few minutes later they were all eating. Lena finished first and proceeded to run around the both of them, and the table, for a good ten minutes before she crashed. Thankfully, not into a wall or anything, she just sat down and fell asleep. Thankfully , it wasn’t unusual for her to go down for a nap right around now anyways. After finishing his breakfast, which we’re obviously fast forwarding through, Prince Noah went to wash his hands before he lifted Lena up from the floor and situated her against his chest.
“I’m going to go put her down really quick, then we’ll go for our walk.”
He said softly so as not to wake his baby girl, winked at Princess Quinn and left the kitchen. He carried Lena to her room and placed her in her bed, taking a wipe and cleaning her face gently before kissing her forehead as she slept. He’d missed her more than anybody could imagine, and he was actually content to just sit there on the floor watching his baby sleep. He’d have stayed there all day if he didn’t have his own agenda. Standing up, he walked to his office and to the safe he kept under some floorboards. He pulled out a ring box and slipped it in his pocket before closing everything up again and walking back to the kitchen, stopping to tell one of the women on staff that they’d be having a walk and he expected at least two of them on Lena duty until he and Quinn returned.
“The little Princess is passed out to the point that I could actually clean all the syrup off of her without her even FLINCHING!”
He said as he walked back into the kitchen and over to Quinn. We’re going to say she was standing by now, so he was able to pull her into his arms for a proper kiss.
“I think we should go for our walk before I get overzealous and fuck you on the table in front of the cleaning crew.”
He whispered against her lips, two of the women who helped to keep their quarters having entered the room to start cleaning things up.
Seeing Lena running around and hyped up had only made Quinn smile and laugh, for such a small girl she was a ball of energy. It truly warmed her heart to see her so happy and carefree. Her excitement over her father being back, mixed with all of her running around had quickly exhausted her. It was almost impossible for Princess Quinn not to smile as she watched the toddler fall asleep within minutes.
“Of course. I’ll be here.”
She shot him a small smile before getting up from the table and carrying their dishes to the sink. She knew the staff were there for that kind of thing, but she always loved doing her bit to help out. As she waited for Prince Noah to return she washed her hands and made sure she looked presentable. She was already wearing one of her nicer dresses, something telling her earlier that she should look her best for the day. Satisfied with her appearance, she straightened out her dress and waited for her Prince to return. The entire time she was smiling and having conversations with the few staff that were littered around the area.
“That is amazing. I’m sure she’ll be out of it for a few hours.”
Her voice was soft as she spoke, a small smile still on her face as she thought about the little princess that she had grown even closer to in their alone time together. She was a little surprised as he pulled her in for a proper kiss, but she eagerly responded, having missed him like she had never missed anyone before.
“We should. Lead the way my Prince.”
She kissed him softly as her hand slid into his, gripping it gently. The most simple things like holding his hand were enough to make her day. She didn’t need mighty grand gestures, she just needed someone to love her and be with her through anything and everything. Walking out of the doors and out to the garden, she quickly turned and kissed his jaw lightly, relishing in the fact that he was finally home.
“I’m glad you’re home, Lena and I missed you like crazy.”
It was easy for Prince Noah to get carried away in kissing his Princess back. He knew he had to keep it appropriate though, mainly because popping a boner at the breakfast table was hardly acceptable with a three and a half year old running around, regardless if that little girl was too busy pretending she was a plane to be paying attention to her father’s crotch.
He had plans for the Princess on his lap though, which he’d refined slightly on his travels and planned to put into action later on that day. For now though, he was perfectly content to continue kissing her. It was to the point in which he was so distracted that he hadn’t noticed Lena climbing up his leg until she was standing carefully on his other knee. She precariously placed her hand on his shoulder and leaned forward, her face suddenly between the two of theirs and blowing a raspberry against the creases of their lips as they kissed. Prince Noah pulled back laughing loudly as Lena fell into a fit of giggles on his chest.
“Somebody’s jealous it seems.”
He teased, then tickled his daughter for another moment until the breakfast that Prince Noah had ordered was wheeled in and Lena shot off his lap with a war cry of “WAFFLES!” How could he NOT be infatuated with the little girl?
“Just when I think she missed me, she leaves me for waffles!”
He grumbled melodramatically, though he grinned a moment later and tapped Princess Quinn on the butt.
“Let’s go eat, presuming you haven’t yet.”
Happy, content and calm, three things Princess Quinn felt being back in Prince Noah’s arms again. Throughout her time at Dalton she had become friendly with many people on staff and knew her way around like she had been there her entire life, she wasn’t afraid of being there without her Prince, but it was certainly different. Instead of focusing on that she focused on kissing him and getting reacquainted with the man she loved. She could hear Lena playing in the background, a part of her always knowing when the girl was around. There were instincts that had taken over after the toddler came into their lives and she couldn’t help but be fiercely protective over her, like a lioness protecting her cubs.
Quinn felt Lena climb onto her fathers lap but she couldn’t bring herself to break the kiss. A little hand rested on her shoulder and within a moment there was little face getting between them. As Prince Noah pulled back and laughed, Quinn turned her head and kissed Lena’s cheek, smoothing her hair down gently as she fell against her fathers chest. Hearing their laughter caused the blonde to laugh along with them, a happy smile lighting up her face. She remained draped across his knee, one arm still resting around his shoulders as she leaned against him on one side while Lena was on the other. They were like a real little family and there was absolutely no way for Quinn to describe how much she loved it.
“She missed her Daddy, she’s allowed to be jealous.”
Princess Quinn laughed softly and kissed Prince Noah’s cheek. Seeing Lena get all excited over the waffles made her laugh while it reminded her of Prince Noah. There was absolutely no doubt that she was his daughter. During their time apart she had noticed many little quirks that screamed Noah but there was also things that had to be from her mother, Lena was the perfect balance of the two.
“She did miss you, but you know waffles are far more important to any three year old.”
She sent him a mock glare before rolling her eyes and moving off of his knee.
“Let’s, I’ve only had my morning cup of tea so food sounds great to me.”
